What are your charts?
Sea Heritage offers over one thousand historic nautical charts and other images from throughout the United States. Sea Heritage also offers charts and maps from various regions throughout the world, such as the Caribbean and South America.

What does 'remastered and enhanced' mean?
Sea Heritage takes an image in digital format and removes as many blemishes as possible in an effort to restore the image to as pristine a state as possible. Our charts are printed with an off-white layer added to the image, to give it an antique quality.

Are your charts colored?
Our United States nautical charts and lighthouse drawings are black and white (with the charts featuring a wide range of grays) and reproduced with in a off-white tone, to give the piece an antique appearance. Our Caribbean and aerial views are restored as much as is technologically possible to their original color.

What kinds of materials do you use?
All of our materials are museum-quality and acid-free. The paper we use is heavy bond, thicker and heavier than paper you would use in a standard, desktop printer or typewriter.

Is Rush service available?
We ship via UPS, and can provide any rush service they provide for both framed and unframed charts, such as overnight, Saturday, and second- or third day delivery.

What is your refund/exchange policy?
If you are dissatisfied with your unframed selection for any reason, you may return your chart for a full refund, exchange for a chart of equal value or put your credit toward a chart of greater value. (Please note there is a re-stocking charge of 20% of the total cost of your order on returns of unframed charts totaling more than $200.00) Framed pieces are created on demand and cannot be returned. Please contact Sea Heritage in the event your framed piece is damaged in transit.

Do you buy or appraise charts?
No. Sea Heritage sells remastered and enhanced replicas of charts, maps and drawings only.
